Hi Everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, because it’s been a while since I took out my camera, growing and having a baby takes up a lot of time 😂. But we’re getting into a good routine now and enjoying getting out in the sunshine and going for walks, which gives me a bit of time to take some photos.

We love walking around Stover Park near Newton Abbot which is where these pictures were taken, as it’s so great for pushchairs, and Louie loves a good afternoon nap in the sun after looking at the ducks.

I thought I’d share these photos as my first ones back to introduce Louie to you, who may appear now and then in my photos, and this lovely photo of an upside down Mallard, purely because it makes me smile when I look at it, and hope it makes you smile too ☺️

I‘d also love any suggestions anyone has on where we can go for walks with the pushchair or I can put Louie in the carrier and take some snaps. Now I’ve got my camera out again I want to keep it up, as I’ve really missed it, and can’t wait to share some pictures of what we see on our trips.

Well I’ve certainly not been very proactive on the photography front this year, finding the time around work and growing a baby has been tricky, but I’m so glad I got to capture my little sisters Graduation day! The weather was just beautiful and their happiness radiates through the photos so much I had to share a few of my favourite photos from the day! Congratulations to all of you lovely percussionists 🥳

Although I really hate Sunday nights, I oddly love Monday mornings, I love the idea of a fresh start to the week, and starting work to see what the upcoming days will entail. I hope everyone has a great week, we’re nearly in November, can you believe it?

Autumn shows us how beautiful it is to let things go 🍂

Last weekend we went for a walk from our local village down to the river, a walk we hadn’t done before. But I realised we’ve now lived on Dartmoor for 2 years and we’d never been inside the local church, so we popped in, and it was absolutely beautiful, full of autumnal flower arrangements and just felt very peaceful. The main thing that caught my eye outside though was this tree, growing between the graves, and how it had a huge gap through the middle meaning you could fit inside it. The sun quickly appeared and fell perfectly through the branches, and aligned with a crossed headstone in the background. It was just asking to be photographed.

It’s a fresh new start to the week, and although I’m still disappointed that the autumnal leaves aren’t quite here yet, I must say this view with all the glorious greenery leading out to the moor is quite beautiful. I’ll just have to pop back and visit when the leaves have turned.
