Real Photography Company The Real Photography Community Interest Company promotes analogue photography in Bristol and beyond.

We are a Bristol-based Community Interest Company, incorporated in 2017 to re-establish and re-invigorate the Community Darkrooms at St Pauls Learning Centre, Bristol and revive interest in analogue and alternative photography. As well as managing the Darkrooms, we programme courses, events and workshops for participants to discover the magic of black and white film-based photography, learn darkroom techniques and experiment with creative processes using chemistry and light.

Meet another one of our Darkroom Directors, Frank Menger 📸🎞️

He has been working with us about 3 years, and he is responsible for the day to day running of the darkroom as well as holding workshops which you’ll be able to book on our website (more new courses going live soon!)

It has been so great to share some behind the scenes before our show tonight and sharing this process through Bristol Community Darkroom's instagram, as they have been a great collaborator for many of us in getting our final prints ready for this show.
