AD | Testing out the E208 GTI from

I had the pleasure of being invited up to Scotland to test out the all new Peugeot E208 GTI.

Scotland being one of my favourite places, I had the chance to drive around the beautiful Loch Lomond and really test out how fun this car is.

I love photography and adventure. How I get there is a huge part of the experience in adventure, and this is so much fun to drive.

With a 0-60 of 5.5 seconds and 233 miles range, this has all the practicality of an electric car, with a sports car like experience. It absolutely lifts off, and it handled corners like they were nothing! Not to mention how awesome this car looks!

With thanks to some filming and driving help from we had a blast on this trip. And a huge thank you to Peugeot for having us.

I’ll be driving back up to the Scottish highlands again very soon in the 408 GT, so make sure to keep an eye out for more shots with that.

Street photography in Venice, Italy.

I’m currently in a city I’ve never actually been to, and to some people’s shock, that is Paris!
I’m only here for 1 night, but I finally had the pleasure of meeting Andrei Kostromskikh and Anastasiia Kostromskikh in person after following and supporting each others work for many years.
They were kind enough to show me around Paris and capture some beautiful street photography scenes together.
If you’ve never seen their work, then I highly recommend checking them out.
They are lovely people and are incredibly talented.

Instagram has its downsides, but the one thing it’s consistently given me is the opportunity to meet some absolutely incredible people through it.

Watching how they look out for and approach specific moments and street scenes reignited my passions for street photography.
These street shots were taken a few years ago in Venice, Italy. One of the most amazing cities for street photography. There’s so many moments, scenes, people, and textures to capture there. It’s definitely a street photographers heaven.

Autumn getaways in the mountains - The Dolomites.

There are some pretty amazing places to stay in the Dolomites, but one of the most memorable places was the Naturhotel Lüsnerhof
Being able to relax and look out over the rolling hills and mountains, especially as the sun sets and casts its warm glow across the view was incredible.

The photography opportunities here are amazing in the autumn. You’re constantly surrounded by the warm orange leaves amongst the alpine vernacular.

If ever I visited again, this is likely where I would stay.

I definitely need to head back for another photography trip.

Autumn across Bath city.

Autumn can be such a beautifully peaceful time of year in Bath. It’s a great time to photograph, especially during sunrise or if we get a good sunset. The sunrises can be spectacular with mist and haze covering the city.

Throughout the city of Bath, you’ll notice beautiful pops of autumn colour amongst the architecture. If you’re a keen photographer, keep an eye out for these pops of colour as you can create really unique compositions and framing.
With spring being a close second, autumn is definitely my favourite time of your for photography in the city.

Autumn in the mountains - The Dolomites.

I love being up in the mountains with a camera. During the autumn, the Dolomites has the most incredible views of the mountains with endless forests, and during sunrise, you can see the mist rolling across the landscape which is stunning to photograph!

There’s something about these landscape locations that creates such a calming sense of escapism. Sitting and watching the sunlight rise over the mountain top, or the slow moving fog with a gentle breeze and the sound of wind and nature is so peaceful and freeing. It’s definitely one of the best experiences to photograph, and I hope that these photographs are able to create an ounce of the same feeling you get when you’re there.

These were mostly captured by the Canon UK and Ireland R5 and 2 of them with the DJI Mini 4 pro.

Misty autumn mornings at Stourhead.

When photographing the autumn colour at Stourhead, there’s very much two parts to autumn there. The earlier half will give you incredible colour on the higher ground by the arch which looks stunning with the red crawling across it, but on the lower part you can end up with some really misty looking scenes.

The later half means that you’ll lose a bit of the colour on the arch, but you can end up with incredibly colourful scenes with stunning sunrises down by the lake.

This particular morning was earlier in October and created some breathtaking scenes and colours to photograph.

It’s very much one of my favourite locations to capture, and I look forward to seeing what it’s like again this year.

Stomping through the Autumn leaves.

The one thing I love about the autumn is that you can start with the wide view of everything, but the closer you get, the more beauty you find in autumn.

I love photographing the autumn colour, but I love getting up close and capturing the smaller details. The textures of the leaves, the water droplets. The moisture on the ground as the light shines through. The closer you look, the more beauty there is the photograph.

A lot of these were taken at Westonbirt Arboretum near Tetbury in the Cotswolds. A definite must visit for capturing the autumn colour if you like getting out and exploring with the camera.

Postcards from Madeira!

Back in August I had the pleasure of exploring Madeira and its incredible beauty and nature.
This stunning island has some of the most varied and breathtaking locations to photograph.

From thousand year old mystical trees, to stunning cloud inversions up in the mountains. It really has it all.

I’ve collated a few postcard scenes from my trip there that captured some of the beauty and our experience there.

I definitely want to go again in the future and highly recommend going if you’ve not been. Definitely a photographers dream.

The Autumn Dream - Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🍁

I know I tend to go on and on about it, but honestly, one of the best places for the autumn colour is the Scottish Highlands.

If you can capture it from above, you can see incredible autumnal forests for miles. One particular place I loved was Plodda Falls. Amongst a sea of warm oranges, yellows and Red forests is a stunning waterfall.

The rest of the beautiful landscape and the highland vernacular covered in fallen leaves makes for such a fantasy aesthetic to photograph.

I’m excited to be heading back up again this year for another photography trip in the autumn. Let’s just hope the weather this year doesn’t make autumn fall short.
