Summer is my favourite season and this year I really want to look for slower moments, here’s just a few of my favourites:

🌞 spending time doing more things I love
🌞 watching sunsets and being in the nature
🌞 stepping out of my comfort zone
🌞 exploring my creativity off the screen
🌞 being with family and traveling back home
🌞 time away from my phone
🌞 short breaks from work

do you have any goals for summer? 💛

Something new is coming…✨

Guys! We’re making a podcast…👀

Myself and .studio have finally done it. We’ve created a podcast which feels like a much needed business therapy where we navigate the ups and downs of running your own business, and try to find the ultimate balance between being self employed and living a fulfilling life outside of work.

I am BEYOND excited to share more with you, it’s the ultimate passion project and we’re just so proud of the fact that we’ve actually made this happen. It’s been a while in the making but the stars have finally aligned and we’ve decided to really commit to this.

What can you expect from this podcast:

✨Soulful chats diving into the ups and downs of running your own business
✨Laid back and honest conversations about being self employed
✨Celebrating our wins
✨Talking about our challenges
✨Lots of giggles

& more!

We very new to this podcasting thing and although we love listening to them, we don’t reallyyyy know what were doing💁🏼‍♀️ We want to share our thoughts, opinions and experiences with you so make sure you follow .employed to find out more about this new venture and keep an eye out for with the first episode launch!

🎄How to use stock photography and make the most out of it in your festive marketing🎄

I’m sure some of you have already started planning your festive content and some might still be waiting to tick it off their to do list...which is why I’ve put together a little guide to show you how you can use festive stock imagery to help with your seasonal marketing.

So, how do you use stock imagery this winter?

🎄Upcoming sale
Encourage your audience to look out for your winter sale with beautifully styled festive images.

🎄Introducing new service/product
Do you have a new product or service launching? You can easily use the stock images to create beautiful posts about your exciting new projects.

Spread festive cheer by inspiring your audience with motivational quotes. These stock images are perfect for overlaying text so you can share aesthetic nuggets of wisdom.

Minimalistic jewellery styling tips✨

Jewellery is one of my absolute favourite thing to shoot, it’s mainly because I get to play around with my macro lens and I just love being to create beautiful set ups that showcase necklaces, rings, earrings & more.

I love styling jewellery in a minimalistic way because it helps to show off the product, let the jewellery shine and be the main focus of the image.

Some of my favourite tips for minimalistic jewellery look:

✨ Less is more. Start off with just using one prop and build your scene from there. Sometimes it’s just about placing the prop in a different place or swapping it out for something else. This way you way you can start creating your scene without making it too busy.

✨Lighting is everything. When you’re creating minimalistic imagery it’s so important to make sure you’re happy with your lighting. There’s less to distract you from a poorly lit image so make sure you consider your light source. Are you using natural light or studio light? If you’re using natural light, think about time of day as well as shooting on a cloudy day vs sunny day.

✨Choose props that will highlight the product you’re selling. If your product is a luxurious hand made jewellery, what could you use to convey that look? Silky fabrics or beautiful trinket dishes could help. If your focus is on floral pieces then maybe you might want to include some delicate flowers in your shot etc.
