Today's post is HER! The one and only, Indira Román!!! .roman 😍
She is from Cuba, her voice and talent are jaw dropping. She is charismatic and versatile with her voice, singing tango, bolero, and pop, her gigs are always a gift to the eyes, ears and soul. ❤️
She is also a mother and wife, definitely the front person of not just .ajipati band!!!!
I met Indira during the pandemic and there was an instant connection! Why? Because she is everything that reminds me of home: music, dance, good food, love & laughter, friendship and much much more. ❤️
I had the privilege to photograph her a few months ago for the launch of her new remix, a wonderful song written by Indira, dedicated to all of the women like us, - A Las Mujeres Como Yo - and we had a blast! Can you imagine??? I am utterly thankful for the privilege and if you want to listen to Indira & Ají Pa'ti's new single remix it is on all music platforms, ALL of them! Also her new gigs for June are:

Everyday I watch the news wanting to see the end of this war. Nothing justifies the horrors of such violence and seeing it from the outside is frustrating because there isn't much we can do for it to end. What we can do is give some relief to the victims of the war, to those in the cross fire, being targeted by just being or standing for their rights. I have posted a link on my linktree that's on my bio and it will take you straight to the donation page. Every donation is going to make a difference right now. I had encountered Ukrainian refugees here in Bristol and it's comforting to know that this country is trying to help some of those civilians fleeing from the war, there is still a lot that can be done and we can do something too. Any donation is welcome! 🙏🏻

I have been fortunate enough to photograph last week. She is the labour candidate for Easton. We met in 2018 when I started volunteering for . I will always follow her with my camera, and she would always hide! When she contacted me to take her photos, I couldn't believe! This is how the universe works.
I captured the beauty of this woman, who I truly admire, I love the work she does with communities across Bristol and how incredibly inspiring she is. Thank you for the honour, Debra! 🙏🏻❤️😘😘

I can finally shout it out everywhere!!!!

I have some exciting news to share!!!! So excited to announce that my book, “My Rendang Isn’t Crispy” has been chosen the winner for Malaysia and I will be representing my country at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in 2020.⁣

I will be heading to China next year to compete against other countries for the title, “Best Celebrity Chef 2020”.⁣

Happy Friday everyone! What a fun shot of Tara is an amazing Chef who runs and recently launched her second business. She needed a new set of images of her true self and just by looking at this one you can immediately see some of her great personality and fun person she is. I really enjoyed working with her and learn about her artist side.
