For those who missed it, Pocket Talks was a world-first tech launch featuring Manon Dave from the BBC, brought together by aer studios, MyWorld - Bristol Bath and Condense.

Manon delivered a keynote presentation in one room, while audiences across multiple locations watched a 3D-captured, digital version of him presenting live through their mobile devices.

Using AR and 3D volumetric capture, Pocket Talks beams speakers to a global audience, all from your phone. Think: phone in one hand, drink in the other.

Monday 6th October is the start of brought to Bristol by . I had the pleasure of a sneak preview of this incredible installation - HELIOS in Bristol Cathedral. Created using over 400,000 images of the sun’s surface and inspired by NASA’s solar observations, Helios brings the swirling solar winds, sunspots, and filaments to life in stunning detail. Internally lit and accompanied by a surround sound composition featuring actual recordings of the sun, this immersive installation invites you to explore the hidden beauty and power of our closest star.
