We made a speed booster for the ARRI ALEXA Classic, XT and SXT.

Introducing the Reduxa A1, a 0.71x focal reducer and interchangeable mount system designed to bring a wider field of view, an extra stop of light and a more full-frame style of rendering to one of cinema’s most iconic cameras.

Our early prototype tests showed increased subject separation, shallower depth of field and a more dimensional image, while making the ALEXA even more capable in low light.

But Reduxa A1 is more than a focal reducer. We’re developing it as a complete front-end system, with interchangeable mounts, electronic communication, aperture control and precise optic calibration.

Hey everyone – David here! I’ve been in Turkey this past week testing NEXA-MAG to its limits (no crushing this time). We were shooting for three days in 40-degree heat — no trouble at all.

I couldn’t help but grab a few shots of the mag while we were out there. We’re shipping our first batch soon — hopefully next week, or the week after at the latest. So excited for you all to try them!
