Has it really been that long? 🤷‍♀️ I gave myself six week digi-detox and it turned well into six months! No particular reason - guess I just wasn’t feeling it - maybe it was Covid? Meh! What’s your longest time off grid? I’m pretty sure it’s good for us from time to time. I do it regularly. But it’s good to see you - time to catch up on what I’ve missed and what you’re up to…..hello again x

Whoosh! The sound of a busy mum! You know it too - the spinning plates, the multitasking superpower, a life often out of balance, being on your toes, a tendency to neglect self care! Yet, with parenthood there are so many benefits too - the never ending source of entertainment, seeing through their curious eyes, being a better person, living in the moment and loving more than you can ever imagine.

But today - switch off, find balance and be completely and utterly uninterrupted in doing something just for you! And do it well!

I used to shamefully limit the number of photographs I took in the winter, assuming there’d never be enough light to capture the shot I wanted. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I’ve come to genuinely ❤️ love ❤️ photographing the colder seasons. Try it yourself - find little pockets of light, use the shadows, pay attention to the outlines and go make yourself some stonking silhouettes.🙅‍♀️

Say Whaaaat! It’s her birthday already! I can’t believe how much she changes from month to month and year to year. She literally grows before my eyes and her little quirks change bit by bit! I wonder if she’ll always stare-out the TV like this, dance like no-one’s watching or magpie my jewellery? I don’t know about you but my memory starts to become hazy the further time goes by. I think I’ll remember her ways but quite often I don’t - so amen for photographs!!
