Over 105 years living in the same house.

Elsie Allcock was born on 28 June 1918 in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, England, UK. It was the tail end of the First World War. King George V was still the king.
She has seen two world wars and two royal coronations all from the comfort of the two-bedroom terrace home in Huthwaite.

Elsie left school at the age of 14 and stayed at home to help look after the family following the death of her mother, Eliza, who died from pneumonia in 1932.❤️🇬🇧

When she married Bill Allcock in 1941, they both decided to continue living in the house with her father.

In 1960, Elsie bought her childhood home for £250. Her father, Mark Hall, who worked as a coal miner, had started renting the house for seven shillings and sixpence in 1902.

Share your life story with us over at nice cup of tea ☕️

There’s no script, just you telling us about your life experiences in the comfort of your own home (or venue if you prefer). You don’t need to stare down a camera lens but simply talk to our interviewer.

Our documentary films are then professionally edited together into your very own teaser trailer and short film that tells your story that you and your family can treasure forever.

We had the pleasure of talking with Steve, a talented musician from Portishead, about his post war upbringing, his dislike of school, how he discovered & fell in love with music and some of the lessons life has taught him.

In his own words, these videos help you learn something about yourself & often getting these stories out of your head and preserved on video forever more can be a great relief.
