Cousins ❤️

I’ve had quite a few sessions recently with larger family groups and really love these shoots! Cousins laughing, running, giggling together - in today’s busy world meet ups like this don’t happen as often as we would always like and even as a photographer you can get preoccupied catching up with your relatives that you forget to take many photos. So when I get asked to capture these moments for other families I feel very privileged 🥰

This family in particular had so many smiles, so much energy (I ran a lot on the beach, definitely no need for the gym this week 😂) and just a gorgeous dynamic between the kids no matter how big an age gap, it reminded me of my childhood and the good times shared.

I come from a large family and have 13 cousins in total, and some of them don’t even live in the UK. So when we do get the chance to meet up it’s always so special (and very rarely can we all make it!) 😂 but however long it’s been there are always lots of laughs and hugs and special times.

Essentially… family rocks ❤️

I had a lovely family shoot back in February with .thedoula and we took a bit of time to get some photos of just her for her new website - definitely recommend getting in contact with her if you’re looking for a doula, I met her for the first time that morning and felt as if I had met a friend for life! 😊 Having had two babies myself, having her kind of energy around during pregnancy would definitely be awesome ❤️
