A shot of a kingfisher from a walk a couple of weeks ago along the Frome Valley River, near Bristol, the Kingfishers are quite a common sight now along the river, even with screaming kids and dogs jumping in the water, these normally shy birds have become a frequent sight and are wonderful to see!

It's been a great year for the autumnal colours this year! I've really enjoyed getting out amongst it all, I've managed to get a few photos in this year and this image in particular, is from a trip down to Exmoor a couple of weeks back, a location called Watersmeet - if you haven't been then I'd definitely suggest a visit

One thing I like to try & convey with my landscape photography is a sense of serenity, this sunrise image was taken recently at Martinshell Hill in Wiltshire, I had the place to myself which gave me a time to pause and reflect - hopefully the image gives you a sense of peace when viewing it

Took a trip across to Bodium Castle last weekend, as have been wanting to capture the Milky Way there, this location has to be one of the most peaceful locations I've visited to do Astrophotography! Just me and the owls

Composite image (ie Sky & foreground shot separately) 13 x frames of 60s each, tracked via MSM Rotator and then stacked in Starry Landscape Stacker. Lens used - Sigma 14-24mm f2.8 Art, mounted to Sony A7Rii

Kimmeridge Bay under the Milky Way from the 1st May, this image has extra significance for me on a personal level as at that moment in time my mum was still here, but now she is up there in amongst those stars that I have always found comfort being out under. Mum was always interested in my photography & when I told her about my Astro nights as well as my other photography work, I can still hear soft gentle voice saying “my clever son” so this image is for you Mum, my world and my universe, now up there amongst the stars ✨ and always in my heart
