After leaving University, *and being shoved back into reality* the winter days quickly took over and the dark, damp and cold conditions weren’t exactly inviting.

With flowers dying off and the trees dropping their leaves there wasn’t much colour left in the landscape.

However I decided to dry and freeze a number of flowers in order to try some new techniques *all out of camera*.

It’s been a while since I last posted on here so I hope that a few of you are still with me 💗

After researching social and therapeutic horticulture *a little too extensively at university* and exploring the manipulation of digital images, I decided to put my camera down for a little while.

In my current job I spend most of my time outside, however I understand that many people do not have this privilege for a verity of reasons.

Putting my camera down has allowed for me to explore the natural world in a different way. I am currently trying to understand how we are able to bring the natural world inside without having to look after a house plant *which will inevitably die anyway*.

This is yet another digital manipulation I have recently explored.

The original image was taken in Budapest’s botanical garden during my trip last month. Through my process the designs have become more suggestive and relate less with their original form - yet I still feel that the natural tones stimulate the brain in ways that purely man made designs fail. @ Bristol, United Kingdom

Between the excitement of races many took a step outside into the cold, taking a moment to relax and walk around The Shopping Villa

After hours of walking I can hardly remember what the views were like at the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. So glad I took some photos of this amazing landscape; desert like conditions with glaciers stretching as far as the eye could see.

Only been home a few hours but I though I would share some of my images with you from my latest travels. More to come at some point in the future.
