Another epic Bristol wedding with high priorities on getting the most out of their day with an intimate ceremony followed by a meal at the most excellent .restaurant (part.one) and then a big party full of all the heartfelt squeezes and huge raucous laughs later on at .wine . Quick fact - I LOVE the speeches part of your day. Learning more about you both and hearing the best stories about how you met and the journey you've been through to getting married only makes my job easier. Bonus point for big cries during the speeches and these two had points off the chart for pulling the emotion out of every guest.

It's no secret that I love a Bristol wedding, I love a tiny wedding and I love to see your furry family able to attend your wedding to celebrate with you so this little celebration of love was just dreamy. Hannah and Will took their day and moulded it to be exactly what they wanted, with who they wanted and to include the things that they really loved. A tiny ceremony followed by a champagne picnic on the Bristol harbour side, with dog and best mates in tow. Delicious food planned for a fancy lunch and then a casual few beers with pals at the end of the day. Do what makes you happy for your wedding. Buy outfit changes. Get the fancy champagne. Keep it to being the tiniest day of that's what makes your heart happy.

Such a brilliant day celebrating Flo and Liam's wedding at Cherwell Boathouse and such a crowd of party people with some excellent shape throwing 💃🕺 Big thanks to these dreamboats for trusting me and getting in a wobbly wobbly boat after several champagnes. Cheers you two 🥂

Indie and Saf had a perfectly tiny wedding in Bristol this weekend - just a few guests followed by a champagne picnic up by the suspension bridge. After finishing a doctorate, buying a house and planning a wedding - these two know how to get things done!! Hope you two are having the best time on honeymoon ❤️

Tracy and Matt's intimate day at Bath's Temple of Minerva had a rollercoaster of weather with blazing sun to torrential rain! After getting married during the COVID years Tracy and Matt decided to get their family and friends together for an excellent celebration of 5 years married with a vow renewal. A heartfelt ceremony held my was the perfect way to kick off the day followed by much prosecco and then a reception at .

Is there ever a better spot for a wedding in Bristol then down by the water at Beeses? Sophie + Joe had a cracking day starting with the legal stuff at the Register Office in town followed by a cruise along the river to Beeses Tea Gardens. A side note to say that capes should be worn at all opportunities and swooshed as much as possible (if you need to ask if it's too much, then it definitely isn't) ❤️

The Spring weather has sprung and it's brought with it some delicious evening light and sunsets and those lovely hazy skies that only seem to grace the Spring and Summer months. I can't wait to shoot some beautiful weddings in some evening light this year! Did you know that having an experienced photographer when you plan your day will make all the difference when it comes to having the right pockets of time to capture some hazy sunset gloriousness? If you haven't already, have a chat with your photographer about your priorities when it comes to your photos - do you want solely candid shots? They'll advise on how to get the best ones. Do you want to soak up some quiet moments when the light is just right? They'll advise on the best times to add this into your schedule. A great photographer will be able to help you with queries and will want to collaborate on timings with you to make sure you get the best out of them and the most out of your day.

Glorious Spring days, first dances on the streets of Bath and another perfect small wedding. Rosie and Nick's day was small but perfectly formed with pop of colour and shoes I will forever wish I owned (love a gold bow). There was a first twirl to the dulcet tones of a busker's version of Lionel, which felt particularly apt as their first date ended being serenaded by a busker back in the days of covid times.

Continuing my journey of website image selections today and felt this wedding deserved another post of appreciation. The colours, the dress, a nod to all the younger wedding guests for their absolute unbridled joy, the decor (DIY'd), the white DMs instead of wedding heels. This wedding has my heart.
