Last Saturday,two or three hundred anti-immigration marchers from around the South coast and London, arrived in Brighton with the aim of marching through the city in a show of strength. They were met by thousands of counter protesters determined to stop them showing the hate that was on display in Southampton and Belfast in recent weeks. The police tried everything to allow the march to take place,including pepper spraying the counter protestors and deploying riot gear. The people of Brighton held firm,and the far right crowd dispersed with their tails between their legs..
