I know its been a while but it feels good to have been back behind (and in front) of the lens! I have been kept really busy with other ventures and I did loose a little confidence in my photography. I look back and remember how much I loved it so I'm going to try to gently get back into it. Lock down has made it difficult to plan any photography projects so back to the old fashioned self portraits.

I took a break from photography for a while, not just because of COVID but because apart of me felt a bit lost with photography. I put too much pressure on myself to create work that I was proud of, but for a while this wasn't happening and I felt stuck. I've realized now that the key is to do a project with other people about something I'm really passionate about. So here we have it, I want to do a photography project around body acceptance. I will write more on my blog but I am looking for people, all body shapes and sizes to photograph and share their story of their relationship with their body and how they feel about themselves.. If you would be interested in taking part please comment below and I'll be in touch! All shoots will be done with social distancing in mind.

My grandad was a huge creative inspiration for me, he was an amazing artist and photographer, who even made a dark room in his bedroom! These were some of his old film cameras which have again helped to inspire my photography.

It has been a difficult few months, as I imagine it has for many people in the current climate, but I'm planning on channeling everything back into my photography again.

Pumpkin Picking Patch is the ultimate place for autumnal activities! Absolutely loved picking multi coloured pumpkins with my nephew and sister.

is so so important! Let's keep sharing stories and personal experiences to help break stigma! Alot of my person work has been created through my own struggles with mental health.
