A little sneak peek from Tui and Stewart’s church wedding ceremony. I’m still trying to narrow down which ones to share (so many joyful photos!) - but I couldn’t not share these. 🤗

Married just minutes from home, with their baby Arlo close by and family all around, it was such a warm, relaxed celebration that felt simultaneously like a wedding and a village festival.

Every wedding teaches me something new ✨

I go into each one with a clean slate, no expectations, just being fully present and ready to capture whatever unfolds. My favourite moments are always the unplanned ones... the pure magic that happens when two people are surrounded by their favourite humans, all in one place, doing the absolute most to celebrate 🤍

Evie and Charlie’s day was that down to a tea. From our first meeting, I could tell that this was a couple that was going to celebrate, and HARD. The care and attention they poured in to every detail of their day, not just for themselves, but for their guests, was beautiful to behold. And can’t you just see all that love, joy and everything that makes a wedding so special pouring out of these photos? 🥹

STOP making your wedding group photos a nightmare!

Group photos, or “formals” as we sometimes call them, can be a headache, but they absolutely don’t have to be. Most of my couples ask me where to even begin with their list, so I’ve put together a basic, easy template for the order of your essential photos. This way, you can get them done quickly and get back to enjoying your reception!

Photo 1️⃣: The Big One! Everyone at the wedding (often best done right after the confetti throw).

Photo 2️⃣: Extended Family (Both Sides) The couple with both sets of extended family.

Photo 3️⃣: Immediate Family (Both Sides) The couple with both immediate families (parents, siblings).

Photo 4️⃣: Immediate Family (One Side) Partner One with their parents.

Photo 5️⃣: Immediate Family (The Other Side) Partner Two with their parents.

Photo 6️⃣: Wedding Party (The Full Crew) The couple with the full bridal party/groomsmen/squad.

Photo 7️⃣: Wedding Party (One Side) Partner One with their side of the wedding party.

Photo 8️⃣: Wedding Party (The Other Side) Partner Two with their side of the wedding party.

Remember, this is just a template, so feel free to chop and change it to fit your family best!

I have a confession: I’m a direct flash addict, and Meryl and James’ wedding was the perfect fix.

From the wildest reception entrance I’ve ever witnessed, to several rounds of music bingo before the band even started, outdoor portraits in their coordinated, bespoke Taylor Swift jackets, and finally, a dance-floor that refused to quit, my flash was working overtime, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

A black-tie wedding with laid back vibes. Grace and Jamie wanted a relaxed party to celebrate with their closest friends and family. The London Docklands museum was the perfect setting for a cool, city celebration. And what party is complete without Lion Dancers wowing the crowds?
