There is something truly magical about those first few days with your newborn. The way they curl up so perfectly, the tiny details of their hands and feet, and the overwhelming love that fills the room when you hold them close. 💕

Sweet little Aria was an absolute dream during her newborn session, giving us the most beautiful sleepy portraits as well as precious family moments that her parents will treasure forever.

Those beautiful wide-awake eyes... 💙

Many parents worry that if their baby doesn't sleep during their newborn session, they won't get beautiful photographs.

The truth is, some of my favourite images are captured when babies are awake and curious about the world around them.

This little gentleman gave me the most adorable expressions and making direct eye contact with the camera. These moments are just as precious as the sleepy, curled-up poses.

Every baby is different, and after 13 years of specialising exclusively in newborn photography, I've learned to work with your baby, not against them.

As part of my celebrations at the studio I include a portrait session which celebrates the birthday, a cake smash which is super fun and messy and a bath bubble and splash session.

I will share the cake smash and splash session when mummy has seen the images - we don't want to spoil the surprise too much!

This lovely family has been with me for each of these newborns sessions, their sitter sessions and their 1st birthday cake smashes!

It has been such a privilege to see this family over this period of time and that they trust me to capture all of these memories for them. It is a bit a of sad photo to think it has all come to an end.

But hopefully they will come back a few times over the years to capture more family portraits - I hope so!
