I am thrilled to finally share a project that has been a significant part of my recent work: the photography for Sifu Shaun Rawcliffe’s latest book, Mastering Wing Chun Kung Fu: Techniques and Training Drills.

As a photographer, you’re always looking for subjects that offer a balance of aesthetic beauty and technical precision. Working on a martial arts manual of this caliber was a unique challenge. In Mastering Wing Chun, the goal wasn't just to take "pretty" pictures; it was to capture the split-second mechanics, the correct musculoskeletal alignment, and the "energy" that Sifu Rawcliffe is known for teaching.
