It’s been a beautiful sunny day for Richard and Hazel’s wedding today (between showers) at All Saints Church, Hutton Village. The rain held off for the all important photos outside this beautiful church. Thank you Mother Nature ☀️🙏🏼 x

Hello and apologies for my 'online' absence since April.

I'm sure you can all relate when I say, 'life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it' as quoted by Ferris Bueller in that cult 80's film.

This is kind of what's been happening, LIFE. Although work is still pretty full on, I've been taking time to live in the moments. My son is now engaged to a lovely girl, my sister has joined a new tribute band. I've been helping some of my neighbours, spending time with friends and I've been doing some much needed gardening for my inner peace and well being.

So I just wanted to come on and let you all know that I'm still here, but I cannot be a slave to social media and post every day, even though I realise the algorithms don't favour this and I won't be 'exposed' to the masses. Instead, I just want to thank, each and everyone of you, that continually tag and recommend me when there is a post asking for a photographer, because you really are the best and I'm forever grateful.

All that said, I have 2 weddings this week, 1 next week and then I'm off to Corfu in a couple of weeks for my first overseas wedding photography job and I cannot wait.

I hope you got this far and didn't get bored after the first paragraph 🤣.

For the past few years, this little lady and her fabulous mum have been coming till the studio for portfolio photos. Freya is becoming a very sassy young lady, and both her and her mum, are always so much fun when they visit the studio.

It really doesn’t matter that you don’t have any make up on, or your best clothes on, or feel a little down. Be sure to ALWAYS be in the photo, they will remain the captured moment in time that your family and friends will look back on one day. Photos will last a lifetime even when we are no longer here. So please, don’t shy away from a photo opportunity as I hope you now understand just how important this is. 💛 📷

Here’s a magical little photo.
Only originally meant to be of little Hallie, mum and dad weren’t really keen on being ‘in the photo’. I really urge ALL of you to get involved, as these are moments captured FOREVER. Not just in professional photos, but in all photos that someone tries to get you involved in. They will last a lifetime and will be frozen in time even though time waits for no-one. But here IS something rather special, a moment never to be forgotten, a moment to treasure forever.

Working through the first of the Christmas Mini Sessions of the weekend just gone, I came across this little gem. Georgie with a snowball. Is there anything cuter with those little Shirley Temple curls of hers? I just love sharing some of the memories I get to capture for my families.
