No referrals, no waiting lists, no reception desk to navigate. Pop in and see how they can support you, someone you love or your community.

It is going to be such an incredible resource for Aberdeen.

The Nook will officially open in Aberdeen on Wednesday 17 June! 🥳

To celebrate, we're touring the city with The Wee Nook: a custom-built model which gives a sneak preview of what to expect from the hub.

Pop along to visit us at:

🚂 (Tuesday 9 June, 3pm-6pm)
📍 Bon Accord Centre (Friday 12 June, 12-5pm)

The Nook itself is based in Marischal Square and will be open for visitors from 10am next Wednesday.

I was up in Aberdeen for work on Friday so took the opportunity to head out to the mouth of the harbour and Torry Battery to see if I could spot the dolphins and luckily they were keen for some acrobatics.

On Friday I took a trip out with Tayside in Pictures to shoot a forest floor of wild garlic, it was a beautiful wee hidden gem in Angus.

Yesterday, my dad and I visited the farm where both my great great grandfather and great grandfather farmed from the 1940s to the 1980s. It was great to hear my dad’s childhood memories of growing up there and to see how the farm is used today by the current owners, who were genuinely interested in its history.

The skies might have been very grey, but there was some stunning colour across Brechin Golf Club on Sunday as the Brechin Rotary Club held an incredible fundraising day for MND Scotland. The golf was mixed but good fun was had by everyone!

Well done to all those involved in what was a fantastic day.
