More close encounters of the furred kind from the magical Isle of Mull.
Long shots using Nikon Z9 and 800mm lens . Keeping a safe and sensible distance . Parked : not in a passing place and enjoying the peace and tranquility where it could mostly still be found .

The Gaelic name for the white-tailed eagle, Iolaire sùil na grèine, translates to "the bird with the sunlit eye".
Thanks to my client David Holland for persuading me it was a great idea to try and use the 800mm lens for some close ups !

So good to be back on the Isle of Mull : weather just about holding out and Otters performing beautifully ! This dog otter has been the star of the show so far: Big lens at a much greater distance than this looks ! As always better to stay high up on the shore and take long shots : the otters still come close !
Nikon Z9 with 800 mm lens and 1.4 teleconverter ! 😊🙏
