I am always put off taking photos like this, and definitely put off posting them. I always tell myself that I don't have the right equipment. Then I thought about it and realised that's a stupid reason for not doing something I want to do!
My camera gear isn't the best, my camera is basic entry level and the 2 lenses I have are cheap and second hand. But I still manage to take what I think are quite good photos.
This photograph is far from my favourite I've taken but it means something to me so for that reason I love it! It's there as a reminder for me that there's never going to be a right time to do the things we dream of doing, the timing is never going to be perfect. So we need to take those chances whilst we have them and do the things we've ways wanted to do! And if we know we can do better, that just gives us an excuse to do it again!!
So use what you have, and do what you can from where you are! Think of that thing you really want to do and ignore the fact you're scared of what people might think of it, or you doubt your abilities, whatever is stopping you. The limits we put on ourselves are not real! Our self-critical thoughts and insecurities (as real as they seem) can be destroyed!
Most people wont have read all of this, but if you have, I hope it's of some value to you. It's here as a reminder for us all to stop putting limits on what we can do ✌️
