I’m very pleased to share that yesterday I was successful in my application for the award of Associate of The Royal Photographic Society (ARPS) in the landscape photography genre.
Associate is the second level of distinction within the RPS, the first one being Licentiate (LRPS) which I gained in October 2025 the third being Fellowship (FRPS), the highest level.
The requirement for Associate is for a panel of 15 images supported by a Statement of Intent and submissions can be in the form of digital images or mounted prints. I submitted prints depicting long exposure seascapes from around the UK coast.
The submissions are assessed by a panel of very distinguished professional landscape photographers which yesterday comprised of Joe Cornish FRPS, Paul Mitchell FRPS, Lizzie Shepherd FRPS, Justin Minns FRPS and Chris Palmer, Chair of the panel.
My sincere thanks not only go to the assessors but also to Sidmouth Photographic Club for a great deal of help and support along the way.
Below are the 15 images I submitted plus the panel layout of those images.
Happy days!
