For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world,
A fortune amassed, with riches unfurled?
The glittering treasures, the fame, and delight,
Yet in shadows he wanders, consumed by the night.

Is it gold or mere power that feeds the heart's flame?
Or do whispers of love bring eternal acclaim?
What worth have possessions when joy eludes grasp,
And the spirit is choked, in despair he's clasped?

A soul, a sweet essence, far rarer than gold,
Its worth cannot measure in stories of old.
So tell me, wise seeker, as you chase after dreams,
Will your heart remain free, or be lost in the schemes?

What shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
A moment in glory, a moment made whole?
Reflect on the journey, the path that you tread,
For a life lived in darkness is not truly led.

Embrace now the light, let compassion prevail,
For the bond that we cherish shall always prevail.
In the end, it is love that uplifts and defines,
And the soul, once awakened, transcends earthly designs.

In silence, listen to the whispers of the land,
Each blade of grass, each grain of sand.
Beneath your feet lie stories untold,
Of ancestors' dreams and spirits bold.

Teach your children, as the sun sets low,
That the earth is our mother, in her embrace we grow.
Her valleys cradle our hopes and fears,
Her mountains echo our laughter and tears.

Remember the ashes that rest in the soil,
The lives of our kin, entwined in her coil.
For all that we touch and all that we see,
Is part of a tapestry, woven with glee.

Whatever befalls the earth, befalls us too,
For we are all connected, me and you.
If men cast aside care like petals in flight,
They darken their future, extinguish their light.

So gather your family, hold hands in a ring,
Recognise our place in this wondrous thing.
For man is but a thread in the grand design,
What we do to the web, we do to the divine

Oh, how I rue the day I faltered,
A burden upon shoulders, weary and altered.
Demons dance within, a grim ballet,
Yearning for my mother, lost far away.
Like a spectre upon the roadside I dwell,
No beacon of kindness, just echoes of hell.

Months blend into an agonising haze,
When trust was a treasure, now lost in the maze.
Once sacred and cherished, all I held tight,
Now scattered like ashes, consumed by the night.
An unwelcome guest in this sorrowful life,
Fate’s cruel jester—joy turned to strife.

Strangers' pity, my scant sustenance,
While a storm rages on, in desolate silence.
The council—a fortress, impenetrably cold,
A number bereft of warmth, left in the fold.
They flourish above, whilst I spiral below,
A Pandora’s box, where only anguish will grow.

Oh, the depths of despair, wrapped tight in a shroud,
No one sees the sorrow that writhes in the crowd.
She left me to wander in streets fraught with shame,
Stripped of my essence, my hope, my name.
And now, I stand here, lost in this plight,
A flicker of darkness consumes every light.

Forgive me, I implore, for I’m fading away,
Enveloped in shadows—a price I must pay.
The weight of my sorrow, it’s too much to bear,
In a world that’s forgotten, no solace is there.
So, I whisper my last note, a dirge in the dark,
Trapped in this void, with a heart—a mere spark
