“Do You Know What’s In Your Vape”
One of my third year university projects was based on exposing the harmful substances that have been found in disposable v**es through multiple studies. The scariest part of my research was finding how many children today aged 11-17yrs have tried or own a disposable v**e. As well, most do not see va**ng as a form of smoking like traditional to***co smoking because of the sweet flavours.
We have created a generation of ni****ne addicted teens who will struggle to fight this addiction for years to come. Ni****ne effects many parts of the body negatively including brain development. The brain continues to grow until you are approximately 25 years old. This means children and young adolescents could be damaging their bodies during growth, which can lead to devastating long term effects if carried on.
Therefore my approach to this project was to expose the harmful substances to show these teens what they are really consuming behind the fruity flavours.
I am showcasing my six images along with two example posters created to see how they could be used for a public health campaign
*Please note this is a mock up poster for the NHS and not a real published campaign*
