An eventful drive to South Wales during the storms this weekend. The red weather warning alerts via our phones were a little unnerving and with the Severn bridges shut, a long drive around the land to get to where we needed to be.

Brisk morning walk out taking in the local scenery at Hengistbury Head.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Up early with a morning coffee secured to warm us up on the coast. The scenery was stunning and it’s always incredible how much the light changes everything around us, especially with the warmth of the sunrise.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The first shot was taken a little further along the coast with the Isle of Wight needles just visible across the channel ahead.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These kind of mornings are my favourite and it was great to get out in what feels like forever dodging rain storms.

It seemed many people had the same idea as us even with the early start, busy parking and lots of people walking dogs, flying drones and exploring the beach below.

Some beautiful and peaceful views out over Burry Port. The rapid winds were blowing the sand around on the beach ahead of us and quickly blew the clouds away to reveal some lovely light.
