I took these years ago after a portrait shoot at a shopping mall in Bournemouth. I was so taken with the parts that the public don't see that I arranged to come back and just shoot those. I was really happy with what I ended up with and proudly showed them to a (more well known) photo friend, who hated them. So I didn't share them as much as I should have, which was wrong because *I* loved them. Some people won't 'get' your work, and that's fine, but it shouldn't change how you feel about it.

Repost from - something I set up with during the first lockdown that gave us an opportunity to broaden our horizons.

Plastic isn't fantastic, but it is ubiquitous. What are the alternatives? Research for an exciting new project.

Almost a year on. This time last year, Covid was just starting to get serious and I was sat with planning a shoot I'm not sure either of us thought was going to happen. I looked at the shots from our shoot last March and totally loved them - which is so rare for me. Clean lighting, amazing styling and art direction, simple but really effective sets... It all came together...

The last time I posted to instagram was in July, when there was no need for jackets like these. With Covid occupying my thoughts, the idea of maintaining and cultivating my social media presence just didn't really matter. Slowly reintegrating with society now. Thank you to for catching my best side...

Second trip to the supermarket since all this began, and this time the queue was long. Everything has changed so quickly and everyone is treated with suspicion. The likelihood is we're just as scared of each other, and that's probably the point - a paralysing sense of unease that stops us questioning, stops us thinking. The offer is still there - get in touch for a chat, be honest about how you're feeling, don't put on a brave face, be vulnerable, embrace how you feel - don't avoid it. But yes, talk.

The past month has consisted of me being generally pi**ed off at more or less everything. Sometimes justified, but often not. At the root of it was the fact I'm finding it so hard to do the things I love - not just because we're in lockdown, but because my head just doesn't want to do it. Even reading a book is beyond me most of the time. For the time being though, I can still ride my bike, and for some fleeting moments I can just exist and escape the pressure I keep putting on myself to do 'more'.

I didn't know if we'd get to see the bluebells this year. The woods were busy though - maybe even too busy. At the risk of sounding like the driver complaining about traffic (you *are* traffic), it was so much busier. Roads were busy and the sunbathers and picnic-ers were out in force. This troubles me.
