Hi i’m Roz and here’s a little glimpse at some of the work i’ve been up to this year, it’s generally a mix of all sorts; moments i’m proud of capturing and people i’ve loved working with. I’ve also rarely shown my face on here - so here i am!
i’ve always loved taking photos, whether that’s of friends, strangers, ephemeral stuff that passes by and and gone in an instant. Growing up in Brighton I felt very comfortable taking photos in the street, documenting everything that caught my eye. I moved to Bournemouth 10 years ago to study photography at the arts uni, this was where i really began to experiment and grow as a photographer, meeting lots of talented and creative individuals. It wasn’t until i graduated that i realised i should buy a digital camera as i didn’t have access to a darkroom anymore.
I still love shooting on film and have developed a style that i feel brings a film like quality to a digital image.
This year has been my busiest year yet, working as a photography demonstrator at bournemouth uni and building my little photography buisness shooting lots of weddings on the weekends. I have Dorset to thank for the build up of my portfolio and connections!
i’m so grateful to everyone who’s recommended me to a friend or supported me throughout this year. Thank you for everything.
To all the wonderful couples who have booked me for next year, i’m so excited to work with you and document all of the loveee - because that’s what life is all about really!
Looking to the future, i’m open to commissions of all kinds, i love working with local and independent businesses. If you feel you may need some photography to boost your website or socials, let me know - i’d love to chat 💌
That being said, I find this app quite challenging and tend to delete it from my phone most of the time, so for a quicker response you can find all my contact info in my bio 💚
big thank you to the fella in the last photo, George, the love of my life and creative partner.
love, Roz x
