Recently, I volunteered some of my time to Camp Bliss, a festival in the heart of rural Dorset 🎪🏕️. When I arrived I had NO IDEA what to expect, but I quickly found out that this is a festival dedicated to community . I loved it!

The owners let me shoot photos all day of the various activities they had on and I met a lot of very interesting people along the way 😌

If you get the chance to go, go! You won't be disappointed ✌️

Recently I had the opportunity to work with Elements Europe to help them create an explainer about their modular building process, and it's FASCINATING! 😁

I met so many lovely people 🙌, and I can tell you first-hand that all the staff I met on-site were amazingly friendly 😊. I learnt so much about modular builds in my time there, and if you haven't looked into it, I'd recommend it! 🏗️

I'm a huge coffee lover!

When the guys from Dark Addiction got in touch with me and said they needed a video to help advertise their coffee vans, I jumped at the chance! The brief was simple, they didn't have time for a shoot but did have a LOT of images they'd taken over the years of working festival circuits, so could I use that to create an introduction video?

The answer? Of course! Here's what I made for them with a little editing know how...

Are you a creator in need of some video support? I can help!

I recently was commissioned by .richelle to create a short social media piece for her Instagram portfolio so she could shout about her awesome work at Halo! We spoke for a while about concepts and shots she wanted to get and we worked together on drafting specific shots she wanted to feature, and after spending some time with her I really got a feel for what she wanted.

2 hours of filming, a few hours of editing and one epic night out later and this was the result!

The fitness sector is something I've always been curious about.

Watching fitness videos on YouTube, working out in gyms and being exposed to marketing by multiple brands gave me a want to find out more about it. Enter Nick, who just came back from abroad and was looking to establish himself in the UK market. He wanted a video to talk about who he is, what he offers, and had the specific brief of not featuring any current clients.

After an hour or so on Sandbanks Beach, I coached him through the video making process and shooting some hands-on exercise footage, we wrapped, I sent him the edit and he loved it!

I've always had a passion for the automotive industry!

Since I was a kid, I've loved being around cars, learning more about manufacturers, understanding how they work... and of course a stint of being a Formula 1 fan.

LS Bodyshop Dorset came to me with a simple request. The owner wanted a simple video to help kickstart the promotion of their business in Ringwood and to showcase how skilled and precise they were so they could start getting clients through the door. So that's exactly what we did! Working mostly in the evenings, I filmed the entire process of a car door panel (which had been pretty banged up) being restored to as good as new. From dent removal and sanding to lacquer and paint, I filmed everything Ludwik did while he asked me about what shots we should get and bounced a few ideas off me. The man has a keen eye for detail in his work and he really wanted me to show this in the final video.

Needless to say, he was chuffed with the final result! He actually watched it several times over while I was there pointing out different bits I'd shot and where he'd added his own ideas.

Working with artists is always amazing.

I've worked with a lot of different types of creative people in my time, but never really with body or face painters. That's when I found myself commissioned by Face Painting Bournemouth. She wanted a video to showcase her new product, pregnancy belly painting, to help promote this new side to her business.

I was very taken by the gentle way she used all of the sponges and brushes at her disposal, as well as how much she cared about both her work and the person she was painting. I wanted to make sure this was captured on film, combining micro shots of the minute details she created, along with macro shots to keep the bigger picture in mind, followed by the big reveal at the end of her work completed.

Talented bar staff are AMAZING!

Seeing a mixologist at work has always fascinated me. They always have incredible ideas about which goes with what and how much or how little... and watching them work is mesmerising.

My fascination drove me to Jenko's where their main mixologist (and owner), Jade, happily arranged for me to come filming with them one evening so I could test out some new equipment I had bought on the proviso that they could have something for their social media to show for it. After a few hours of filming 4 of their signature cocktails, I produced a series of 4 videos for them to use across their social channels. Jade was incredibly happy with the result, as was I. This was a genuine pleasure to work on, and it's given me a taste to want to do more work in this sector.
