Casting Calls
Imagine if there was no freedom. Imagine if those who spoke out were tortured or killed. Imagine if you could take no more... What would you do?

Below are ELEVEN casting calls, all of which are vital to the realisation of this short film.

Filming dates are 13th March & 14th of March FULL DAY

Locations are in Bolton & Wigan

The deadline for applications is Midnight on 10th March 2018

Lunch and refreshments will provided.

This is for a third year university short film that will be later entered into film festivals.

Synopsis:
In this short film we take the fear, oppression, revolution and conflict of Syria and place it right on the British doorstep. We follow an ordinary British family as they live life under a harsh regime. One night their son speaks out using the medium of graffiti and he is brutally tortured for his actions causing an uprising of the people which in turn begins a civil war. We are asked to walk a mile in the shoes of this family as we witness and experience their terror, despair and suffering as the story unfolds. We end by explaining that this was not a fictional drama but a reality that Syrian people live every day! Then we ask... What would you do?
