Last weekend's wedding at Bashall Barn had a beautifully romantic soft veil of mist as it's backdrop.

Holly & Chris braved the risk of showers for their couples' shots and I'm so glad they did. The soft February sunlight shining on the stunning Ribble Valley hills created a fairytale feel..... we only had to run for shelter from the rain once!!!

So much love and laughter in every frame.

I am honoured to have been part of such a magical day.

I am passionate about capturing not only how your day looked but also how it felt.

I want you to look back on your wedding day and feel those moments and relive those emotions.

The speeches are where you'll find so many emotions displayed so freely. I try to play it cool and focus on my job but more often than not I'll be laughing and CRYING along with you all.

The speeches from Beth & Jack's wedding were in all honesty brutal - nobody's mascara was safe! A rollercoaster of emotions that didn't hold back, had us crying with laughter, with happiness with empathy for memories of times past and futures to embrace.

Reflections

- I'm a not-so-secret obsessive photographer of reflections, mirrors, puddles, picture frames, lakes, windows.... my lens is drawn to them all. I love the slightly alternate version of reality that they give us, that different perspective, those varied tones and the subtle distortion of our world.

So, if you ever spot me and wonder what the hell I'm doing with my camera pointed at a random frame on a wall, just know there's art happening somewhere!

This one is my new favourite, taken during Beth's bridal prep at last week's wedding.

When you opt out of having confetti on your wedding day but the birds decide to fill the sky for you instead!

Holly & Chris timed their couples shots to perfection with this incredible murmuration of starlings (- yes I did have to google that one!) providing an unforgettable backdrop.
