Who else is an early bird?

I definitely am!

I’m always (with the rare exception) the first one up in our house. I have my morning coffee in peace, I sometimes read, listen to a podcast or just sit and watch the world start to wake up….

This morning I was joined by another early bird. It’s fascinating to watch this long legged beauty stalk her prey in the pond, whilst letting nature take its course.

(& I couldn’t resist getting my camera out)

Being up early helps me to set up for the day, giving me much needed solitary time to focus and its when I feel most productive.

You won’t care that the radiator is in the background of the photo, that their hair wasn’t perfectly brushed or that they weren’t looking directly down the lens of the camera…

Photos have a habit of evoking memories & emotion,
(Look back through your photos from 12/18 months ago (longer) and I bet you can remember all sorts of nuance details)

I’ve always been a detail orientated person…

When I photograph inside someone’s house I’m always intrigued by the ‘little things’…someone’s choice of candle, decor, what cookbooks they have, flowers, memorabilia… the list goes on….

Every home is unique, every person is unique, every brand is unique…& it’s my mission to showcase that!

Back when I was small…

I absolutely love looking through old photo’s, remembering how we all used to look and what toys we played with…


But what makes photos even more special is the feelings they evoke, and the stories that they tell.

To an outsider looking in, its just a photo, but to me, I go right back to that moment and live it all over again💕

I also believe that you should be present to make these memories, don’t miss out by constantly having a phone/camera in your hand…..book me instead📸

My little Elsie turned 2 on Friday & I had the pleasure of photographing her💕

She was an absolute joy, just going about her business oblivious to the camera, eating cake & playing with all her new toys🧸

It’s all dolls, barbie & peppa pig at the minute, which is great because I loved playing with barbies growing up, so it was definitely a trip down memory lane!

I can’t believe we’re into the second week of August already!

It’s felt like a busy few months
where I’ve working away behind the scenes sorting this & that for my little business.

My Brand photography has taken a little bit of a back seat of late with holidays, childcare and other commitments.
Branding is still my main genre of photography and my August offer remains open. You can simply message me if you’re interested and I’ll contact you with all the details.

I’ve been busy with toddler shoots over these past few weeks which has been so much fun. Toddlers change so much in such a short amount of time so it’s great to capture all their little mannerisms & expressions, especially whilst they’re not interested in the camera that’s pointed at them.

You may have seen that I am also returning to offering Wedding Photography as of this August. I started in Weddings back in 2021 before specialising as a Brand Photographer. Please feel free to follow me/ share my page
