On a recent trip to Blackpool Zoo with Bolton College Level 2 photography. I had the absolute pleasure of having the endangered Amur tigers pose for some photos. Totally unplanned and completely natural, it took me away with how majestic these animals are. I can't wait to go back and capture some more amazing shots of these incredible predators.

Originating from Northern Asia, this species has been hunted to the very edge of extinction. Poaching, loss of habitat to farming and deforestation and the sale of skins and body parts for traditional medicine have decimated their numbers. The Amur tiger is the largest cat in the world as well as one of the rarest.

First time using the panning photography technique on racing cars this past week. Using the skills and settings I've learned from photographing flying birds, I managed to come out with some sharp images with the motion blur in the background. I absolutely love shooting cars on race tracks and cant wait to do it more!

Previously this week, level 2 photography students from Bolton College had the opportunity to photograph the event put on by Mission Motorsport at Three Sisters Circuit near Wigan. As one of those students I enjoyed my time with this shoot. Coming out with a lot of really good images. We were invited back so I look forward to going to the next one hopefully.
