The sweetest first birthday session with the most amazing family. I really love how happy this whole gallery feels, Billy did not stop smiling from start to finish!
Such a little cutie 🥹

As much as these sessions are about celebrating that huge first birthday milestone, my main focus will always be on capturing family moments too.
The first year goes by in such a blur. They change so quickly and before you know it, the tiny baby you brought home is turning ONE.
That’s why family photographs are such an important part of my sessions. Not just the perfectly posed ones, but the cuddles, the smiles, the way they look at you and those little connections that are so easy to forget as the years pass. 🤍

The tiniest details, exactly as they are. 🤍

The flaky skin, those perfectly pouty little lips, those teeny fingers tucked up close… all the things that change before you even realise they’re gone.

My editing style has always been very natural and minimal. I don’t believe in editing away all the little things that make your baby, your baby. Newborn skin doesn’t need to be perfectly smooth — the flakes, little marks and tiny details are all part of just how new they are.

Because one day, these are the details you’ll want to remember most. 🥹🤍

This beautiful family joined me for a cake smash session, but before we got to the cake and all the mess, we took some time to capture some updated family photos too.

I love including these at the start of a session — little ones change so quickly, and it’s the perfect opportunity to capture those special moments together as a family, as well as celebrating their big milestone. 🥹

Because a cake smash isn’t just about the cake… it’s about capturing this chapter of your family too. 🤍
