When I take pictures at dancing events all light and movement is created through the movement of my camera from the moment I press the shutter release to the moment the picture is taken. I didn't realise that light can also be created so easily using overlays in the editing process. So today I have been practicing with a photograph I took of Elsie, my dog, on our walk in the snow yesterday.

Learning techniques on affinity photo during lockdown that hopefully I will be able to put to good use when I get out to events again! Got a lot of practicing to do but I guess we have a lot of time on our hands at the moment. Better to keep busy learning new skills!

From my first photograph at the Blackpool Tower to where I am today! It's been brilliant each year having the chance to photograph all of you amazing dancers! I've improved greatly through watching you all dance, thank you ♥ Now it's time to find a new venue to take my camera!

I am still working on Barraloadasoul photos! Over 100 to go I think but with being away at Kelso having a fantastic weekend I haven't been able to do much on them. I will hopefully get some time this week or over the weekend!
