The rest of the road is residents only there are roads nearby that aren't and we are walking distance from the multistorey, Sainsburys (max 3hrs) and Blackpool north train & tram stop.

FAQs

You sign up for a residency online it is a 3 month minimum commitment with a 3 month rolling contract.

When you sign up you will set up a payment plan of either £200 per month or £600 per quarter whichever suits you.

You must give a months notice minimum of a cancellation and you must finish your 3 month period.

When you take out a residnency you get 10 hrs of studio time. Access to co-working space. Use of the studios address for your business. Branded assets to you on your marketing.

There are some bonuses to being a resident, input into content creation weeks, 10% discount on other services, additional props.

You can start whenevr you like you do not need to wait till the 1st of the month your payments will repeat on the date you choose to start and you can book in as soon as your first payment is made.

Allow me to reintroduce myself...

I am Sarah, studio owner.

I run the studio with the help of my hubby (a job he didn't apply for, doesn't want and doesn't get paid for bless him!)

I have been in creative industries my whole working life and LOVE it collecting many skills and experiences over the decades (god that make me sound old!)

When I decided to open the studio it was very much a selfish build as I needed somewhere to work from and got sick of traveling out of town! I couldn't find a space to hire by the day in Blackpool. There are a few of us now which is amazing all slightly different and all thriving which shows it was missing!

I remember all the little niggles people had whilst I was working on set and have tried to fix them in this space 🤞

We run slightly differently to other studios we're a bit alternative (see what we did there 😉)

We don't charge you to use our equipment - there is a list online so you can see what we have to play with! We don't charge you to use the colouramas unless we need to cut them they will have footprints on them and if your just doing headshots and thats ok then you're good to go but if you rip them or want them to be footprint free we charge you £15 PM per colour.

This is for 2 reasons:

1 It was so frustrating working somewhere and everything you asked for that you thought would be there had a price tag on it, you either had to suck it up or start bringing everything and the kitchen sink with you! Ball ache when you're travelling about.

2 I want the studio to be accessible, I don't want cost to be a big factor in what you do, how you play when you're here and what you achieve. I want as many creatives as possible to have access to a professional place to run their businesses from!

This is very much what I needed when I stopped travelling for work and as most businesses start I built the thing I needed!

If you haven't met me yet I will probably be in dungarees and a messy bun, I will absolutely try and feed you a brew and biscuits, I will have NO clue what so ever about the settings on your camera ( I am a creative director who can photograph not a pro tog) I will love hearing about your business, your shoot, your life! I'm a chatty Kathy but most of all I'm absolutely here to help with whatever you need to make your shoot run smoothly! ( I also have some fantastic freelance mates who are insanely talented if you need a recommendation!)
