There’s something about pulling up a photo when your baby suddenly hits double digits.

One minute they’re this small, wrapped around your finger. The next they’re taller than you and rolling their eyes. And it’s rarely the posed photos that get you. It’s moments like this. His little hand holding on. The ordinary Tuesday you didn’t think to remember.

That’s what I’m doing standing over them with my camera. Catching the moments you’ll come back to in ten years. Those are the photos that usually get the waterworks going.

The Seven Sisters as your backdrop? Yes please!!!

Meet the Dodge family... four incredible humans who trusted me with one of life’s most precious things: the ordinary magic of a Wednesday afternoon together. Little ones running in the coastal breeze, Mum and Dad stealing a quiet moment, and those iconic white chalk cliffs doing what they do best...I was in awe with the view to be honest!!

We shot this session on the stunning East Sussex coast near Eastbourne, one of my favourite locations for family photography in the South East. The natural light, the space, the drama of the cliffs... just wow! Plus the kids loved running around... photoshoot? Nah play session 😜

Family photos don’t need to be perfect to be meaningful.

For me, it’s always the little in-between moments that matter most…the cuddles, the movement, the way your children are right now… I like to even ask the children what pose they want with mommy and daddy! Photo sessions should be fun… the smiles say it all 😜

Still catching up on a few beautiful stories captured in South Africa that never made it onto here..

This engagement session feels extra special to share now, because it reminds me so much of what I’ve always loved about photographing people, the connection, the little in-between moments, the details of the day… but it also reminds me of the photography community in South Africa, I did this shoot for the and it’s always been such a blessing learning alongside them.

As I start building this next chapter here in the UK, I’m feeling so grateful for every couple, photographers and family who trusted me with their memories.

And honestly… I’m excited to start creating more of this here too.

Engagement sessions, couples, families and weddings…I’ve missed this so much and I’m ready to create magic with people I haven’t even met yet 😜

I’ve been so quiet on here… and to be honest, I didn’t really know where to start again.

Before we moved to the UK, took these photos at our home in South Africa. It was our last little photoshoot in the house that held so much for us as a family.

So much happened in that home. The kids only knew this home, and we made so many memories there. This was the place that carried us through such a big season of life.

At the time, I just knew I wanted photos to remember this place we called home for so long.

But now I’m even more grateful we did them, because not long after this, we had to put our doggy, Simba, down. He had been part of our family for more than 10 years, and these are some of the last photos we have of that chapter with him in it. My heart just broke a little again looking at his sweet face!!

It’s honestly made me realise all over again why photos matter so much… and why I fell in love with photography in the first place..

You don’t always know at the time how important these photos will become, until things really change and all you have left is the photos and the memories.

Since arriving in the UK, I’ve just needed time to settle, find my feet and be present in all the change. So my business and social media became a bit quiet for a while as I mentioned a few times on my stories..

But I’m finally getting to work on my photography business again, and honestly, I’m so so excited.

This move and this new beginning have made me look at everything with fresh eyes… my brand, my work, what I want to create, and where I want to take it next.

So there are some exciting things coming.

It feels like the start of a new chapter… and I’m really happy to be sharing again!!

Every year, these blooms remind me how quickly time passes and how special it is to capture these in-between moments! X

Beneath the blooming jacaranda trees, they laughed, chased, cuddled, and paused-just long enough to hold onto this season before it slips away. The toys were scattered, someone was barefoot, and the baby refused to wear pants-but this? This was everything.

It’s in the in-between moments - the messy hugs, the spontaneous giggles, the way they reach for your hand without thinking - that the real magic lives.

Last week it was Richard’s turn….
A story of resilience, faith, and rediscovery.
As his life coach and photographer, I got to witness a young man who decided to face his past with honesty, and his future with courage.

Richard’s transformation isn’t just outward. His inner transformation started with forgiveness, self-acceptance, and a willingness to be seen again.

His journey is proof that healing doesn’t take away our strength, it reveals it!!
