Amy-Rose is a Birmingham based photographer specialising in documentary Wedding photography My love for photography stems my love of people.

I have always been a keen observer of folk, fascinated by how we connect and form relationships with each other. I love that we are all different and I love that every job I do is therefore different. Based in Birmingham, I have the joy of being able to comfortably work up and down the country and overseas. I get a real kick out of chasing ‘the moment’ and aim to photograph not only how things loo

k, but also how they feel. Capturing emotion is a high priority for me and I realise how privileged I am to be part of someones wedding day or family photo shoot. I photograph in a relaxed, documentary style and I like to get close, which is why it helps for us to get to know each other before hand. As your photographer, it is my priority that I am invested in you. You may have a some special requests or things you aren't sure about, so you should feel free to ask as many questions as you like. Two star crossed lovers from polar ends of the UK, a dozen shared hobbies (politics, Disney, Cat Earnie, castles and travelling, I could go on), a Knight in shining armour, one raising of a flag, then most mead soaked Medieval banquet celebration a Saturday could muster PLUS a whole lot of love.

Stolen moments with Sophie and Will.

The boys post ceremony, scratchy beards, side eyes from Frenchies, Dads making cuppas whilst brothers fix ribbons. Secret kisses and most importantly, joy.

Becky and JP did it right ⚡️What a Wedding!

Who would have imagined an outdoor ceremony in the middle of October? Well these guys did and the weather also got the memo and showered us in glorious autumnal sunshine all day.

Such a fun fun day working at Elmbridge alongside side Harry on video. So much to capture, all the bits everyone see’s and all the bits you dont. These guys were in their element all day and we even had a rendition of ‘Delilah’ by the groom himself 🎤

Thank you for having me capture your amazing celebration. This seasons weddings are going out with a bang! Just a handful more to go until I can hang up my 2024 hat.

Yesterday I was totally spoilt. Jess and Tom’s incredible Grand Hotel wedding was a real show stopping affair. Brum, you’re giving New York a run for its money at the minute ;)

The way Jess’ silk gown floated through Colmore Row was just perfection and Tom’s dashing black tie suit was perfect for this timeless celebration. The couple are clearly so loved by everyone there and the speeches were top tier. Hats off to you all!

Once again I was incredibly well looked after by not only the wedding party (I counted 6 times I was offered a coffee in groom prep) but also by The Grand, what an amazing place to have your wedding.

Lizi and James ~ absolute diamonds 💎

These two tied the knot in the very heart of Brum - in the Shakespeare Room at the Central Library and followed by the most amazing reception at Kitchen Garden Cafe.

Lizi’s incredible look was handmade silk dress and kimono by and dried floral crown (and tattoos!) by the talented . I couldn’t have pictured her wearing anything else.

The couple were keen to have their wedding feel as understated as possible and all about people gathering together, being well fed and watered and having a good boogie to the sounds of The Cosmic Balloons. Having known Lizi and James a little while through powerlifting, they are such a wonderful couple, following their passions and adventures, with James’ job in travel blogging taking them abroad and exploring the world.

On a personal note, its always a special day when you a photographing someone you know. Thank you for being so cool to shoot and I had so much fun and a little shuffle on the dance floor for ma own self.

‘I’m too happy for my feet to hurt’ ~ Caitlin

Wow wow wow, what a day we had yesterday with Caitlin and Laurie. Birmingham, you came up absolute trumps for their stunner of a wedding

These two were incredible to work with and just rode the Wedding wave of the fun throughout their entire day. My job is so easy when the couple are having the time of their lives.

The Grand Hotel was such a decadent backdrop for their city chic affair and I know their family and friends enjoyed incredible food and drink, dancing the night away under the classic architecture of this beautiful building.

As far as weddings go, Meg and Callums was an absolute corker, with all the very best ingredients, so much love, everywhere!

It goes without saying that Meg looked absolutely show stompingly beautiful in her Jusin Alexander Ball gown, the perfect fit for such an incredible venue at Clevedon Hall. Callum, your warmth and kindness shone every second of the day, I know Mom Tracy is incredibly proud of the true gent you are.

I had such a smashing day, taking all the Brummies out West was a brilliant idea and all of your wedding guests outdid themselves with their friendliness and hospitality.

A stunner of a Saturday with Kiren Calum . Their English and Indian fusion Wedding was warm, vibrant and joyful with lots of thoughtful detailing to entertain guests throughout the day. From their loyal steed Milo the ring bearer to an epic mini golf course, incredible food, booze aplenty, speeches galore and outfit changes and Dhol drum entrance, their day truly kicked off in style.

Thank you so much for having me both and what a great choice you made to have your Wedding at Mickleton, such a beautiful cotswold stone backdrop to all your fun festivities.

What an utterly marvellous day we all had on Saturday. Rachel and Ali, you were an absolute dream to work with and your choice to host your wedding locally, using lots of nearby suppliers was admirable. I loved the feel of your day, friends and family from all over bought together in a charming, leafy, community cafe and bar meant the whole affair felt intimate and cosy with plenty of life and soul to feed the festivities!

Rachel, the detailing on your Wedding gown was breathtaking and paired with a headband, flames of red hair, stood next to husband Ali in a pink linen suit, you were both a vision of understated and effortless Wedding chic. Thank you so much for having me as your ‘tog

How can anyone fail to be moved by ‘Glasgow Love Theme’ when it’s played so beautifully?

Anna and Jamie’s beautiful Wedding at Hampton Manor during the week 🍃

As part of my hybrid endeavours, I was able to record Anna’s entrance music, giving an authentic audio to their film.
