A Testimony...
I was posting some leaflets around Ladywood houses.
There was an elderly Jamaican man sitting on his wall of the front garden.
His head was hung low, looking down on the paving.
I offered him a leaflet.
He looked up at me.
He looked so sad. He asked "what is it about man".
I said it was a Christian leaflet. No thanks he replied.
I started to talk to him, I asked him if he were ok. "How are you doing I asked".
He came out with "man I don't believe in God, my dad was a pastor in Jamaica.
I know all about it. No sir me don't want God".

After listening to his story it was all because his dad beat him up with the Bible.
He said his powerful Pastor dad had little time for him and his own family as he was too busy ministering to others. He showed little attention to his own family.

Leroy was in his 80's now.

I prayed during my listening to Leroy, "Lord how can i reach him, touch his heart Lord. Please give me what to say".

Inspired by the Holy Spirit I began to share how Jesus cares about him personally. How Jesus saw his childhood. How Jesus understands his bitterness and un forgiveness toward his dad.

I shared how he can be free from all that hurt by turning to Jesus Himself who did him no wrong.
Who cares deeply about him.
I asked Leroy who by now has tears in his eyes if he would just come to Jesus just as he was and get free.
Leroy, looking at me said his own prayer putting his own heart and life into to hands of Jesus.
As Leroy prayed his skin colour seemed to change.
He had life come into him.

Leroy got born again.

Wow praise God. Just giving out leaflets door to door opens up opportunities to bring some one to Jesus.

Thank You Father for Leroy who is now with You.

Seeing through the eyes of God.

When you see just one precious soul before you.
Realise that God wants to reach that ONE PRECIOUS soul for Jesus through You.

That one precious soul won for Jesus could be used by God to reach the billions of souls that you could never have chance to reach and that you are a part of an incredible miraculous ministry in Christ Jesus.

Be forever grateful for every soul won for HIM.

Looking through the eyes of our Father in His Son and His incredible love to reach ALL MANKIND.

Just ONE SOUL at a time for Jesus.
