A Few Outfit Tips Before Your Photoshoot

✔️ Iron or steam your outfit.
Wrinkles are much more noticeable in photos than they are in real life.

✔️ Try on your full look before the shoot.
Not just the dress or blazer - put on the complete outfit with your shoes and accessories. Make sure everything fits well and feels comfortable. Even oversized pieces should still look intentional and flattering.

✔️ Think about the concept, not just the clothes.
There aren’t really any “forbidden” colours or styles. Bright colours, prints or bold outfits can look incredible if they match the mood of the photoshoot.

✔️ Don’t forget the accessories.
Simple earrings, rings, a watch or a necklace can make an outfit feel complete without taking attention away from you.

✔️ If you’re coming as a couple or a family, try your outfits on together.
See how the colours work next to each other. You don’t need to match - you just need to look harmonious.

✔️ Empty your pockets and remove hair ties from your wrist.
Tiny details like these often stand out more than people expect.

✔️ If we’re shooting in a studio, please cover the soles of worn shoes.
It’s a small gesture that helps keep the studio backdrop clean for everyone.

📸 And one last tip…

If you’re unsure about your outfit, send me a photo before the session. I’m always happy to help. Sometimes changing one small detail can completely transform the final result. My goal is for you to arrive feeling confident, relaxed, and excited - not wondering if you chose the right outfit.

The location matters more than you might think.

When planning a photoshoot, most people focus on outfits or poses, but the location has just as much impact on the final result.

That’s why I always ask my clients to send me inspiration photos first. They help me understand not only the style you love, but also the atmosphere you want to create.

Sometimes that means choosing a classic studio with a seamless backdrop, sometimes a lifestyle studio with beautiful natural light, and sometimes an outdoor location. Every option creates a completely different mood.

There isn’t one location that’s better than another. The right choice is simply the one that matches your vision.

That’s why I don’t limit myself to one studio or one style. I help you choose the location that will bring your ideas to life and make your photos feel exactly the way you imagined.
