Yesterday was fun! 🌘
I remember watching the 1999 eclipse from my family flat's balcony. I don't think I was impressed at the time. I don't have any photos from that day either.
But I enjoyed yesterday, especially when the clouds made it possible for me to photograph it without a special solar filter on the camera 😁

There was a small gathering of local people behind our house, using all sorts of equipment to watch the eclipse.
We took a family photo too, to mark the occasion. I like it so much, I think I'll print it and put it on the wall.

Oh my days! What a day!!!

Aleisha and George wanted a relaxed weekend weekend experience, with overnight camping stay, games and great fun. They have nailed it! It took them looong time finding a right venue, but it was worth the wait.

The friend they both knew before meeting each other officiating the ceremony (Connor, you did great!) and I think we all cried a bit during Alisha's vows.

Dottie (their newly adopted doggo) did amazing too! Just have a look haw incredibly cute she is!

Everything was perfect:
the weather: sunny!
the place: relaxing camping vibe
the sunset: magic!
the atmosphere: full blown party vibe
the people: up for fun and games, super friendly
the dogs: Dottie and two other family dogs. Three dogs at weddings! Paradise!
and there are Aleisha and George: totally and absolutely in love with each other, having the best time of their life ❤️

Often, when we ask what you're most looking forward to on your wedding day, we hear, "having all my loved ones together in one place."

This is so true. There aren't many times (especially happy ones) when everyone you like and love is gathered in the same place at the same time. That's why, as much as we focus on photographing you, we also really focus on capturing everything happening around you. Can you believe this gorgeous place is in the Midlands, and not in Southern Italy?

Moxhull Hall is a gorgeous, privately owned and family-run wedding venue in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. What we really like about the venue, apart from it being so gorgeous, is the amount of care and heart that the owners put into this place.
Bobbie and Andreas are very passionate about their place and the work they do. They are one of the few that truly care about their couples' experience and will do everything in their power to make your day as wonderful as it can be.

Their idea of a summer open day with a Mediterranean feel worked out brilliantly! We are obsessed!

Last week we took Willow to Cornwall for her first holiday with us. She really loved it! Beach is definitely her happy place. I think we will have to dedicate a few weekends a year to beach trips. 😄

Luna was never a huge fan of the sea. She preferred rivers and lakes (and so do we, to be honest), so this is all new to us, really.

Willow has been with us for just five weeks. This time in Cornwall gave us all a chance to really bond and trust each other. This was the first time we really allowed her to run free off the leash and had a bit more confidence she'd come back to us.

She is learning what it's like to live with photographers, hence the last photobomb image ♥️

I (Karolina) think this was my first ever beach sunset, so I kind of forced Mario to stay and watch with me. You can see how happy (and slightly cold) he was in picture 7. 😁

P.S. Yes, I (or rather my croissant) was attacked by a seagull. But all she did was knock it from my hand onto the sand, and no one got to eat it in the end. Oh well... watch out for gulls and, if you're heading to Cornwall with a dog in July or August, do your research. A lot of the beaches don't allow dogs during these months.
And if you prefer calmer water like me (waves scare me!) go to South Cornwall. I wish I had known that sooner than two days before home time 🫣

Penny and Stephen gave us an absolutely dream wedding to photograph. They wanted a day that felt calm, unhurried, and focused on things and people they love.

The day began at home, where they got ready together at their own pace. There was tea, cookies, sandwiches, and a the closest family visits. Nothing was rushed or forced, just quiet anticipation building in the background.

They made their way to the Birmingham Register Office for their ceremony, where things felt emotional in all the right ways.

Afterwards, instead of hurrying on, they took their time. We walked together through a bit of rain to the City Museum for tea. The rain added to the atmosphere rather than taking anything away. No one seemed to mind in the slightest.

There was tea in the tearoom, then a pint in the nearby bar, and a great time through both. And later, they continued the celebration at The Old Joint Stock Pub, where they went for dinner, dancing and a relaxed time with family and friends.

A reminder that a wedding day doesn't need much more than your favourite people in the same space with activities and things that really matter to you both ❤️
