There’s something a little bit magical about a wedding in the woods at Enchanting Woodland Weddings
Shona and Tom’s wedding was warm, relaxed and completely family orientated. There were children everywhere, and I loved that. In fact, I think this might be the most child-friendly wedding venue I’ve ever photographed. FYI If you’re planning a wedding and have lots of little people on the guest list, it’s definitely food for thought.
After the ceremony and the family photographs, we headed into the woodland for their couple portraits. The grandparents had the children, giving Shona and Tom that little pocket of the day that was just about the two of them. After the I dos, the family photographs and all the happy chaos, there’s something lovely about finally getting a moment together, which is where that first photograph of them stealing a kiss comes in.
And that dress. There was no way I was leaving without photographing it amongst those trees. It belonged in the woodland.
Such a warm, family-filled wedding, in a setting that really did feel a little enchanted.
