Isafjorour, Iceland

I had the opportunity to visit Iceland recently.
Captured in the deep fjords of Northwest Iceland, this image encapsulates the region's dramatic weather and unique geography. A snow-banded mountain range provides the backdrop for an unusual, low-level atmospheric phenomenon: a horizontal rainbow spans the water. A lone boat navigates the channel, framed by the intersection of sea, stone, and a spectrum of light. The time was 18.00 and it was a cloudy day, but the sun popped through for me!
