Today is International Women’s Day.

I have the privilege of spending my life surrounded by women.
Women becoming mothers.
Women finding their strength.
Women carrying joy, fear, hope, love and everything in between. As a woman, raising girls to become women.

Through my lens and through my work as a midwife, I see something extraordinary every single day.. the quiet, unwavering power that women hold.

Not the kind that always shouts the loudest.
But the kind that endures.
That nurtures.
That creates life, holds families together, and keeps going even when the world feels heavy.

Today is simply a moment to acknowledge that power.

To every woman finding her way, finding her voice, or simply making it through today, you matter.

And that is worth celebrating.

URGENT - SAFETY RECALL!

Information from the BBC:

Of the 36 cases, 24 were in England, seven in Scotland, three in Wales, one in Northern Ireland and the final case reported to be in one of the Crown Dependencies, which includes the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey.

The UK is not the only country affected with both European nations and those from other parts of the world reporting products have been contaminated.

Cereulide is a toxin which is unlikely to be destroyed by cooking, or when making the infant milk.

If it is consumed it can lead to symptoms like nausea, vomiting and abdominal cramps developing quickly.

Please stop using any of the effected milks immediately and seek an alternative.

If your baby has had any of these products, you can contact your GP or NHS 111 for advice.

Pregnancy has a way of changing you

sometimes unexpectedly.

A maternity session isn’t about looking a certain way
or knowing how to pose.

It’s about taking a moment to pause
to acknowledge what your body is doing
and who you are becoming.

My approach is gentle and unhurried
informed by my work as a midwife
and guided by care, not expectation.

You don’t need to feel confident
or glowing
or ready.

You just need to show up as you are.

I’m looking for a small number of mums-to-be to model for a high-end, editorial-style maternity session at a studio on Sunday 14th December 2025.

This is perfect for you if you’re in your third trimester and you’d love:

- A luxurious studio experience with full creative direction from me.
- Access to a curated wardrobe and beautifully considered styling.
- Professional, high-resolution images (minimum of 4) as a thank you, perfect for printing and framing.

This will be either a creative portfolio session and images will be used across my website, social media and marketing.

The aesthetic is clean, fashionable. Think modern, editorial maternity portraits.

I am looking for women who are willing to work together to create beautiful images and content that they’re happy to share.

There is a £100 fee payable on acceptance to secure your place and honour the value of the session.

Yesterday was the best day of my life ❤️ after 19 years I married my best friend , after 2 years of planning and dreaming of our big, beautiful day. In front of our wonderful families, incredible friends, it was everything we hoped of and more.

A special thank you to our suppliers who gave us their all to make sure our wedding was everything we dreamed of. We chose some absolutely magical people who have become a strong part of the core memories we will have forever.

We are looking through all the photos we have been sent and are both in awe of everyone who came to spend it with us. Excited to see our professional photography and videography soon.

For now, we are in our newlywed bubble of joy, love and happiness 🥰😍❤️✨️

Newborns are the tiniest and sweetest clients I ever get to meet and there’s truly nothing quite like those very first moments. Whether I’m by a family’s side as a midwife on the day their little one arrives, or in the studio capturing their very first memories, it’s always such a privilege and joy to welcome them into the world.

Reuben and Roman were the perfect little clients to photograph. Their twin bond was so beautiful to witness 🥹 the way they settled more calmly when close to each other was a reminder of just how connected they’ve been from the very beginning. I know first-hand how proud their parents are of them, and it’s clear how deeply loved and treasured they are already. Thank you and Dan for giving me the honour of meeting and photographing your precious boys 🩵🩵

✨ Moments like these remind me why I feel so lucky to do what I do.
