Amy Takes Photos My favourite thing is to photograph people. At weddings, events and family shoots. Birmingham based. Although the food's better at weddings!

Especially their emotional, hilarious and sometimes embarrassing moments. Capturing a moment that would otherwise be missed and forgotten makes me so happy. I’ve been building my wedding portfolio for years, starting in Ironbridge and venturing as far as Scotland and Crete so although I mainly shoot weddings in The West Midlands I’m happy to travel. I love lifestyle photography and photographing p

eople as naturally as possible rather than posed shots. Although many people are nervous in front of the camera so I use prompts to put people at ease and make them laugh so I can get the best photos of them. I run around after kids and take the time to get gorgeous shots of all the family. You'll also find me photographing parties, I love dance floor photos and I shoot corporate events.

Wow, what an incredible day I had yesterday photographing Tom and Beth’s wedding.

Beth got ready in her beautiful family home before a lovely church ceremony, followed by a reception in a stunning marquee set within the grounds of her family’s farm. The setting was absolutely gorgeous and it was clear how much love and hard work had gone into creating it. Beth’s parents and grandparents have dedicated so much time to the gardens and they looked perfect.

It was such a special day, I hope you both enjoy your Sneak Peeks!

What a stunning set up! I recently collaborated with VIP Functions & Flowers and Deckerdence to photograph this gorgeous orange and pink inspired tablescape and the whole place looked incredible.

There’s something really special about photographing creative people in the spaces where they do what they love 🧡

I recently spent the afternoon with Becca of Becca Robins Upholstery capturing natural headshots and branding photography for her business in Stourport-on-Severn. From beautiful fabrics and restored furniture to behind-the-scenes moments in her workshop this shoot was full of colour, creativity and craftsmanship.

We also chatted a lot about how nerve wracking it can feel being in front of the camera... something almost every business owner says before a branding shoot but having professional images that genuinely reflect you and your business is so worthwhile.
