The Cadbury's. If you have been on Fazeley Street in Digbeth, Birmingham recently you may have seen some set dressing on the Junction Works / old canal offices building.

It is for a 6 part period drama that was being filmed over Summer 2026 all around Birmingham. For UKTV and Britbox.

They were filming here around the middle of August 2026. Safe to assume the series will be released sometime in 2027 on channels such as U&Drama etc.

There was more stones with QR codes in Meriden Park, also from Doddz. They want the community to make their own butterflies on their phones when the QR code is scanned along the route.

Bus: 72 from Solihull or the 94 from Birmingham.

Train: Marston Green Station is about a 45 minute walk away, via the Hatchford Brook and Kingshurst Brook walking trails.

The Golden Lion was built in the 16th century and originally stood in Digbeth where it was believed to have been the Clergy House and School of the Guild of Deritend. In 1911 the building was taken down brick by brick and rebuilt in Cannon Hill Park to allow for redevelopment. It had been derelict and under scaffolding for 30 years from 1996 until the 2025-26 restoration works. The scaffolding came around mid to late summer 2026.

Birmingham turns red for The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever

A sea of flowing red dresses, wild dancing and plenty of laughter filled York Road in Kings Heath as The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever returned to Birmingham, bringing together Kate Bush fans for one of the cityโ€™s most colourful and unique community events. The Birmingham event followed the success of its debut last year and was organised by The Heath Bookshop, with participants recreating the iconic choreography from Kate Bushโ€™s 1978 hit Wuthering Heights.
