Every now and then, a project comes along that makes you stop, take a step back and think, "Yeah... that's exactly how I imagined it."

I'm genuinely proud of how this one has turned out for Stacey and Carl, now officially Mr & Mrs Tolley.

The personalised video memory box allows their wedding day to come alive again through a built-in slideshow of their favourite moments, while the custom Swizzels Love Hearts featuring the Utopia Videos & Photography branding add a unique finishing touch that helps elevate the whole experience beyond traditional wedding photography.

For me, it's always been about more than just taking photographs. It's about creating something that people can hold, watch, share and treasure for years to come. Combining beautiful prints, video memories and personalised keepsakes into one package creates an experience that feels truly special and completely personal to each couple.

Seeing everything come together exactly as planned has been incredibly rewarding, and I couldn't be happier with the final result.

I’m incredibly proud (and honestly still a bit blown away) to be teaming up with the West Midlands Air Ambulance team to help create and share a special fundraising video.

This is more than just a filming project for me it’s a real honour to support a service that quite literally saves lives across our region every single day. The work they do for families in their most critical moments is nothing short of incredible, and to play even a small part in helping raise awareness and funds means a lot.

Filming takes place in March, and I’ll be putting everything into making this something truly meaningful and impactful.
Grateful for the opportunity.

I started out offering my videos and photography for free, learning and growing with every project. Today, Utopia Videos & Photography is slowly growing, and I’m grateful for every client, every opportunity, and every moment that’s helped me turn a passion into something I can call my own.

Sometimes, things don’t go quite to plan like rain on your wedding day. But it’s how you embrace those unexpected moments that makes them unforgettable.

Yesterday, Mr. & Mrs. Rose did exactly that. Despite the downpour, they never stopped smiling and neither did their amazing wedding party.

đź’Ť Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Rose your joy was infectious, your love undeniable, and your day one to remember.

One of my favourite moments? The bride’s dad, full of celebration, popped a bottle of champagne… only for it to erupt and soak him completely! A plan that definitely didn’t go to plan but what a moment it was.

Unscripted. Hilarious. Real.
And I was lucky enough to capture that perfect one-in-a-million shot the kind that makes everyone laugh, including him.

Because that’s what I love about being a photographer I don’t just take photos. I capture stories, emotion, and the magic in the in-between.

Three years ago, I took a leap of faith.
With nothing but a passion for film and a dream in my heart, I set out to become a videographer. I’d always been drawn to storytelling through cinematography it was more than a hobby, it felt like my calling. That’s when Utopia Videos was born.

The word Utopia means an ideal world a place of perfection, harmony, and beauty. That name became more than just a brand. It became the heart of everything I stand for. My goal has always been simple: to create something meaningful, to capture moments in a way that reflects not just how they looked, but how they felt.

But it wasn’t easy.
I started with nothing not even a camera. In a twist of fate, I entered a raffle to win a full videography kit… and I won. That moment felt like destiny stepping in to say, "This is where you're meant to be."

More recently, that dream was nearly taken from me. My camera broke at a crucial moment, and for the first time, I felt ready to walk away. But something incredible happened family, friends, and even people I had never met came together to help me replace it. Their kindness and belief in me reminded me why I started in the first place. Utopia had to continue.

Then, just last year, I expanded into photography a whole new chapter.
Translating my eye for motion into stills was a challenge, but one I embraced fully. Wedding photography, in particular, comes with immense responsibility. You only get one chance to capture that moment that smile, that tear, that memory. I don’t take that lightly. Every shot I take, I ask myself, “What story will this tell in ten, twenty, even fifty years?” And with every wedding, I grow. I improve. I ask for feedback, I study my craft, and I always aim to be better than I was the time before.

The images shown here are from my cousin’s wedding just this weekend a deeply personal project that reminded me why I love what I do.
