B+W BICESTER

SCRAMBLE!
A couple of days before heading to Madagascar, my dad and I finally managed to get down to Bicester for one of their 'Scramble' events - after only about three years of trying! A great many cars were arranged across the site, ranging from the early days of automobiles through to modern hypercars and hydrogen energy concepts. The former RAF airfield provides some fantastic backdrops, and it was fun to spend a day wandering around taking creative photos without any pressure to deliver. We can't wait to go back!

MADAGASCAR
Some of my favourites from a recent trip to Madagascar, to visit It was fantastic to see some wildlife that you will not find anywhere else in the world, either because they're critically endangered and/or endemic to the Ankarafantsika National Park area in the north of the country, near the city of Mahajanga.

2022 WRAPPED
A break from scheduled catch-up albums from 2020, to share some of my highlights from 2022 ahead of New Year's. What a year it has been - which has included one missile strike, two F1 races, five air displays, six countries and seven EURFC matches.

Happy New Year to all of my friends and followers, I hope 2023 brings you all health, happiness and good fortune!

Two more topdown drone shots from the International Antidotum Airshow 2020. The wonderful Flying Bulls T-28 that was unfortunately lost the following year, and Marek Choim's stunning Extra 300.

EVEN FLYING BULLS GET THIRSTY
One of my all-time favourite topdown shots from Antidotum Airshow 2020, of the superb Czech display team refueling late at night following a brilliant day's flying.

Earlier in the day I had spotted the potential for this composition, thanks to the airfield refueling point sharing pumps with the neighbouring gas station. All the scene needed was an interesting spread of aircraft and lighting, and some cars/people. In the end, the station's soft glow and car headlights completed the scene I pictured that morning.

ENERGY DRINK
The Red Bull refuel following a day of displaying at the International Antidotum Airshow. The .drones Mavic allowed us to capture original angles throughout the airshow event - the first collaboration of its kind in Europe. The years since has seen a steady expansion of drone airshow videography, and we are proud to remain at the cutting edge.

WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED
Antidotum 2020 had some real gems, including some old school autogyros, the Czech Flying Bulls, and the Red Bull Flying Bulls' ill-fated T-28. The highlight of course though, was AeroSparx 😉

Completing the hattrick of with some stills from throughout the weekend of the Antidotum Airshow 2020.

BLANIX 1
After our trip to Saudi in February 2020, the AeroSparx team were preparing for an exciting and busy summer across Europe and the Middle East. Of course we all know what came next, and so it was some relief to be permitted to travel to Leszno in Poland for the inaugural 'Antidotum Airshow'. Possibly the first public airshow to take place in Europe since the pandemic started, with all sorts of COVID precautions in place, the Antidotum Airshow ended up being one of the highlights of 2020, with a real celebration of flying and international aviation.

This was exemplified by who fly two vintage Let L-13 Blanik gliders. The team put on one of the most moving airshow displays I can remember, accompanied by Leszno's iconic live orchestral music.
