The scenes from a brand shoot:
➡️Workspace with personal elements and messaging- Charlie is a coffee lover and often aims to talk about the bright side of neurodiversity
➡️She loves being outdoors and often wears sunglasses regardless of the weather to dampen the sensory overload
➡️Her mechanisms of coping and a peek into her life: uses colouring and playing guitar
➡️ her work and experience with LGBTQIA+ communities

All in all when Charlie started her journey into becoming a speaker for organisations to create a inclusive culture where all kinds thrive, we worked in her bringing her lived experience as an Autistic, ADHD, LGBTQIA+ professional with cPTSD to life through visuals that represented her.

Have you got visuals that help you tell your story and cover all aspects of “you” as you are now; not you from last year or the year before?
When people get to see “you” repeatedly, it helps build trust and trust is what helps people buy from you or hire you.

Headshots or brand shoot? Many business owners go for headshots first as that is what has been told for years: “get some professional looking photos of yourself”
Quite often they don’t realise that most brand shoots include headshots too.
A brand shoot not only gives headshots but also other images that can help you tell a story. These are the images which make creating content easier and also these are the ones which help you standout.

Last Thursday, I was super excited to be launching my first ever event- something that I have dreamed of for ages.

But it’s wasn’t just an event, at the heart of it all was the idea of creating a safe space for women to come together, work on their beliefs and mindset and whatever is holding them back from being visible and then step in front of the camera.📸
Whilst the last week has been spent in editing the visuals captured, I am forever grateful to these lovely women who took the leap of faith to do something differently.
Also, incredibly grateful to Jessica from for welcoming us in the beautiful house which served as a perfect backdrop for the event.

I am already planning for the next one with the feedback received from this one.

Tomorrow’s the day and whilst the final preparations are underway, I am grateful to have the lovely bunch of female business owners who will come and join me and Mandeep from

This is the first step towards building confidence and also embracing visibility and I cannot wait to see where this vision of mine goes forward.

Most of these headshots were taken in the same spot.
Similar pose.
Same lighting.
Same edit.

And that was completely intentional.

Because recognition doesn’t come from having lots of different photos and putting different ones each time,
it comes from seeing you in a consistent way, again and again.

When your visuals keep changing,
your audience has to keep “figuring you out.”
But when they stay consistent,
your brand starts to feel familiar and easier to trust.

But a brand shoot isn’t just about headshots.
For House of Health, we also captured:

• The team (so you know who you’re meeting)
• The space (so you know where you’re going)
• The interactions (so you see how they work)
• The services (so you understand what they offer)

Because one photo cannot to do everything.

This is the difference between
“we need some photos”
and
creating visuals your business can actually use.

If you look at your own content…

House of Health Birmingham, brand shoot was a fabulous experience.
It required a lot of research into market and industry trends but also time management as I was supposed to cover headshots for the entire team, their beautiful space in images and also their patient interactions.
We were also working to a deadline as these were to be used for their launch; print, online marketing and all PR needs. Everything was planned to the exact specific time so that each doctor knew where they were supposed to be and their commitment/involvement.
This level of detail often goes into planning a brand shoot and
