One of the first things almost every parent says to me before their newborn session is ...
"I’m really sorry if my child doesn’t cooperate!"
But let me tell you something... You do NOT need to apologise. 🤍
Your little one doesn’t need to be the ‘perfectly behaved little model’ you see on social media. They don’t need to smile on command, sit perfectly still, and they certainly don’t need to want their photo taken the moment they walk through the studio door.
At the end of the day, they're children.
I’ve photographed hundreds of siblings, and I’ve learnt that the most beautiful images are created through patience, play, cuddles, giggles, and giving children the time and space to feel comfortable.
So if you’ve been waiting until your little one is ‘old enough’ or ‘better behaved’ - this is your sign not to wait. They’re perfect exactly as they are. 🤍
Because years from now, you won’t remember whether they sat still for five minutes. You’ll simply have beautiful photographs that remind you of just how little they were, how much they were loved, and the special bond they shared with their new baby brother or sister. 🤍
